Design Mill

Helix Design is located in an 1880s mill building in southern New Hampshire. The interior space is living proof of the company’s design philosophies. Many times the firm is asked to redesign an existing product, improving upon its best features. For our corporate headquarters, we combined the best of the existing features and customized the space in a sophisticated way to support the flow of work. The space is designed to invoke energy, creativity and integration and the open floor plan keeps the lines of communications open among specialties.

Designers and engineers are situated among each other to promote discussions, disruptions, brainstorming, and ultimately, better solutions. There are no functional or physical silos at Helix. The team is truly cross-functional and the space ensures that each discipline’s philosophies and functions are appreciated, respected and considered.
